Way up north, beyond the cold ocean
In the very heart of the Dane lands
There lived a tribe of birds
that had lost their way.
A man took them for his daughter,
a Scottish captain with a strong
beard and a full accent. Her name
was Gera and she was pretty as one
could be (considering the hairy face).
She was also very large but never hurt anyone
(though she did enjoy watching).
Gera liked ballet, and the tiny dancers
that bend and bend, but never break.
She had her own ballerina,
who lost an arm in a ship crash.
Poor thing, she was so miserable:
Gera got tired and threw her away.
And so she did with the penguins.
After just a short week.
The rejected plotted their revenge.
Killed Gera, her Dad and the whole town
in a symphony of blood and tears
and laughter.
Then they set off to seek their roots,
en route to the South Pole!
But they couldn't read the map
and settled for Poland.
